How Long is the WaitlisT?
We receive about 2-3 puppy inquiries per day, so demand is high at this time. However, this breed is not for everyone so an initial conversation is needed before the application process begins. The waitlist averages 6 months to a year, and the 1st 3 picks are reserved for us as working and show potential puppies.

Can i get my puppy with Floppy Ears?
No. All puppies go home with their ears cropped. The traditional look of the dog is a point of pride and an important part of the breed. Floppy ears are not natural, they were created by selective breeding. There are no "floppy" ears in nature, cropping restores an erect ear. Upright ears are less prone to infection and damage.
How is my puppy chosen?
- Puppies are placed in the following order:
- Our opinion on suitability. As a trainer and breeder I am in a unique position to observe the puppies for their 1st 8-10 weeks of life and do extensive temperament testing. Homes must be chosen on the basis of temperament to ensure a good fit and successful match. We understand that everyone has a color preference, or a size preference, and thats ok as long as you understand that color will not be the ultimate decider of which puppy you get. Under no circumstances are you guaranteed a puppy with a specific color or size.
- The order in which the deposit was received.
The top 3 picks from every litter are reserved for us as working or show potential puppies. Please be aware, preference is given to homes with proximity to California and/or to homes with working or show back grounds.
