Whether it's a new puppy, an older dog with a few bad habits that are starting to wear you down, or maybe a recent rescue and you want to make your new life together as fun and rewarding as possible: all it takes is a little training.
BOARD AND TRAIN
This is the most popular option! By far the most efficient program because it's fully immersive. Your dog lives with me as one of my dogs and is able to benefit from multiple training sessions a day, and a highly structured environment. Especially for those of us suffering from lack of time, the board and train is the best option because it accomplishes in weeks what takes months in a less intensive program. Board and Trains can cover anything from the basics to advanced off leash obedience and range between 3-6 weeks long.

PUPPY HEAD START
The puppy version of the Board and Train program. This option focuses on the basics like potty training, house manners, and crate training, as well as some "big picture" concepts like luring, focus, and engagement. These fundamental building blocks set your pup up for success for years to come. The Puppy Head Start is open to puppies under 6 months of age and is 2 weeks long.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Lessons can address anything, from nuisance behaviors, such as jumping up or pulling on leash to fun circus tricks, and even competitive obedience! This is the best option for owners who want to be more confident in their training abilities and who are able to dedicate time to regular training sessions on their own in-between lessons. Lessons can take place at my facility near Santa Cruz or locally to you and are around 60 minutes long.

Boarding ReTREAT
When traveling without your dog you may find yourself in need of peace of mind for your pet. While in my care your dog lives as my dogs do in a home environment. They enjoy daily play, enrichment and exercise on 4 acres. For dogs that have already completed a training program, special rates apply and existing training and manners will be maintained.
We can accommodate any diet, and a variety of special needs including intact dogs or dogs otherwise not suited to commercial boarding. Contact Annie for availability.

Standard grooming is available to select dogs. Wash, hand dry, trim, and nails!
